Hallo Loren,

Danke für den Kommentar!

Those are some very good sentences! A few little corrections:

"Meine Mutter"

"Meine Schwester möchte einen Donut" (the third person singular of wollen would be "will", past tense would be "wollte", however, möchten is more polite to use when you want to express that someone wants something).

A standard sentence would be "Es ist richtig", however, if this is changed into a question the verb moves to the first position, so "ist es richtig?"

I hope this helps!

Vielen Dank!

Clara

Maine Mutter macht Hausarbeit.

Ich mache Suppe.

Meine Schwester wollt einen Donut.

Ich mag die Katzen wirklich sehr.

Ich benutze den Computer am Nachmittag.

Es ist richtig?

Thank you for your comment. I am glad you like the video!

Did you download the lesson notes? You can find them under the "Download PDFs" tab at the top of the video. There is also a line-by-line audio and vocabulary option under "Lesson Materials" underneath the video.

I hope this helps!

If you have any other questions, please let us know!

Thank you!

The video is nice, but without using a German English dictionary, I would not know how the German words translate. Where do I find the word for word translation?

Hi Ally,

You are correct, "Chef" in German means boss. But in kitchens, they will sometimes call the "Chefkoch" (chief cook" "Chef" for short :)

Regards,

Katrin

"Der Chef macht Orangensaft".

In german, usually the word 'Chef' refers to the manager/boss in the office not in the kitchen. Or it can be used in both areas?

Hi Alex,

Thank you for writing!

A "Büroangestellter" is an office worker. "Büro" means office, "Angestellter" means employee.

I hope this helps!

Hi Franck,

We're sorry for the inconvinience that you had about the issue.

The audio file was not working properly, so we've deleted the file from the system.

We'll be recording the word soon. Thank you, and if you have any questions about German, please let us know anytime.
