HideHallo Loren,
Danke für den Kommentar!
Those are some very good sentences! A few little corrections:
"Meine Mutter"
"Meine Schwester möchte einen Donut" (the third person singular of wollen would be "will", past tense would be "wollte", however, möchten is more polite to use when you want to express that someone wants something).
A standard sentence would be "Es ist richtig", however, if this is changed into a question the verb moves to the first position, so "ist es richtig?"
I hope this helps!
Vielen Dank!

The video is nice, but without using a German English dictionary, I would not know how the German words translate. Where do I find the word for word translation?
Hi Tamin,
I am sorry but I do not understand what you are asking about? Can you clarify it a bit for me?
Thank you!

Hi Ally,
You are correct, "Chef" in German means boss. But in kitchens, they will sometimes call the "Chefkoch" (chief cook" "Chef" for short :)

"Der Chef macht Orangensaft".
In german, usually the word 'Chef' refers to the manager/boss in the office not in the kitchen. Or it can be used in both areas?
Hi Alex,
Thank you for writing!
A "Büroangestellter" is an office worker. "Büro" means office, "Angestellter" means employee.
I hope this helps!

In the vocabulary with audio section the audio doesn't work for the word .Büroangestellter'.
