Yes, you are right!👍 "werfen" on its own
is "to throw" in English.
The way it is used above is a standing expression
in German with the meaning "take a look at", as can
be seen in the translation. 😉

I've just started shadowing this, hoping to eventually get through all of the Listening Comprehension for Absolute Beginners lessons. When I first listened to this, I couldn't pick up a word of it, now after only a day of shadowing I'm able to speak along at x1 speed. Thankyou for the lesson!
