Hello Kay,

Thank you for getting back to us and for reading my comments

so carefully. 😉

If you are referring to my reply to Caroline below, the answer is that they

are really called that: comprehension test. Most of them were handed out in school

and would have been part of the official teaching material, I assume.

But you could also go to a bookshop and find them in the section for foreign

languages, if you wanted to do some additional studying.

Since it was high school level or above, they were usually all 100% English except for a few simple

instructions on use that were in both English and German. They came from a number of publishers.

Mind you, there is also the distinction between reading and/or listening comphrehension. In the latter case you

should be provided with some kind of audio.

I hope this is of help. 😉

Hi Esther,

Thank you for posting.

The first one we covered with "Where is the bathroom?", I guess. But the

second one is important and should be in our next list. Thank you! 👍❤️️

Guten Tag,

Are both "Mein Name ist....Wie ist dein Name/ Ihr Name?" and "Ich heiße.....Wie heißt du/heißen Sie?" equally common or is one form more regularly used over the other?

Vielen Dank.
