Hi Julius & Delphino,
Thank you for your feedback.
@Julius: I usually have a cup of Glรผhwein after coming in from
the cold. That always sweetens the experience. ๐
@Delphino: That's the right way of looking at it. ๐๐
One little hint to aid your learning: Schneeballschlacht

Hi Ken,
Thank you for your feedback.
You are right and I am glad you bring this up.
Although modern technology makes it fairly easy
to write/print the proper "umlaut" nowadays, there are still instances
when you can't.
Adding the "e" is still an acceptable workaround, I believe. ๐
If you have any further questions, please donโt hesitate to contact us again.
Kind regards,
Reinhard

Very helpful and very nicely arranged. Thank you and God Bless you.
Thanks for the comment finding the "umlaut" on our keyboard. I remember learning in high school--last century--that one can also place the letter "e" after the vowel needing an umlaut. Is that still used today?
Thanks for the words and refresher of my German classes.
thank you for the vocabulary list
my favorite word is Rodeln

@David, my correction: Wir haben keinen Schnee hier in Florida. Heute ist es fรผnfundachzig Grad Fahrenheit.
David Kreutzer,
Yes, there is a special way to make German letters on the American keyboard. On the right of your keyboard, use the numbers as follows: Hold down on the ALT at the same time as you hold down on the numbers.
ร : ALT + 142 รค : ALT + 132
ร : ALT + 153 รถ : ALT + 148
ร : ALT + 154 รผ : ALT + 129
ร : ALT : 225
Remember that the numbers at the top of the keyboard will NOT work. You must use the ALT key at the same time you use the numbers to the right of your keyboard.
Diese Wรถrter sind "kuhl?" :-)
Wir haben keine Schnee heir im Florida. Heute, das Temperaturen ist funfundachtig Grad Fahrenheit.
Is there a special character shift on American keyboards to make German umlauts? How can we spell our words correctly?
