@ Amerikanerin: That's a funny German word she taught you. "Den (inneren) Schweinehund überwinden" is a common phrase in German meaning that someone is overcoming his laziness after some inner struggle and is finally tackling his tasks.

The first words I learned were in the ‚80’s, from a German girl that attended my school in America. She taught me to say, „Du bist ein Schweinehund“. I always thought she was pulling my leg and have used Schweinehund since then, thinking her invented, „Pig-Dog“ was funny. Imagine my surprise when I began learning German Autumn 2017 and found out the word was not only real, but referred to your inner, lazy self.

my first phrase was Sprechen Sie Engish

it has been very helpful . I have been learning Deutch for 2 years now

and i currently work in a call center in German . Best site ever (helped me a lot )

when i started learning Duetsch, i started with numbers.

can u imagine how difficult it was??


when i reached 56 it was ( sechsundfünfzig)


I was little hesitant to continue with this language , but then it become easier by time


I have been learning German for about 6 months and now i can speak good
