Hi Listeners! What words would you add to this list? Let us know!
Hi Brigitte (good German name 😉),
You can say "bei Google" or "in Google".
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
I think you raise an important issue that many students of the German language
Ultimately, I think, it will come with practice and talking to German
natives as much as possible, but there is one thing I can suggest.
To use your example, try to say "richtig" and "wichtig" in front of a mirror
and watch your lips and mouth. You might be able to tell the difference
more easily that way. If it works, watch other people's mouths more carefully
when they speak to you.
How does one say: „Can you search google for information about xxxx?“
Is it bei Google suchen or is it another preposition?
Thank you for posting!

lots of similar words in the 2 languages
Thanks for this list. Apart from the company names (which you would expect to be the same) this lesson really highlights the similarity between the two languages! However whilst they look the same on paper the pronunciation tool teaches you how different they sound when spoken! Sorry I do not know what words to add that would be of use,the major ones have been covered but I suppose you could add device words that use the Internet such as laptop, desktop, Software
I know this bit is random but is there any advice on how to listen to similar words? I really struggle with words like richtig and wichtig to me they sound identical in a sentence! Thanks
Thank you very much for your comment and your kind feedback 😄
