Is there a holiday in Germany that is similar to Thanksgiving?

Hello Prince Grey,

Thank you for posting in interesting question.👍

There is a festivity called Erntedankfest which could probably

be loosely translated to Thanksgiving.

I can't speak for the North of Germany but in the South

the Erntedankfest is celebrated among the people in your village.

There are dances and sometimes a special mass in church.

The big family dinner American style we do on Christmas.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Kind regards,

Reinhard
