This is an idea that could easily be ported to the other sister sites. The scripting for it would be pretty trivial. It zeros in on a a skill that needs to be better supported.
GOAL: *LISTENING* comprehension.
PROCEDURE: User selects a broad category (Beginner, intermediate, Advanced, etc.; Things like "Survival Phrases" and "Video Vocab" would be considered Beginner).
User clicks on some START button. User is presented with a SPOKEN Phrase RANDOMLY TAKEN FROM THE APPROPRIATE *EXPANSION* .mp3 database of phrases.
User clicks REVEAL button to show the original GERMAN SENTENCE. (I would not bother including English; If you can recognize the "spoken" German, you almost certainly already know the English anyway.)
REPEAT.
