yo, what's up with the green knight?!

the last thing that comes to mind when i think of germany are knights. probably 1000 other things pop into my head first when i think about germany.

the flag, punks, cars, cathedrals, a heraldic eagle, birkenstocks, adidas, football (soccer), ravers at love parade, etc...

and those wouldn't look much better than the green knight, admittedly.
but may i humbly make a suggestion?
how about a beautiful german beer maid?

While the knight doesn't scream Germany I can can certainly make that association with Teutonic Knights (though that particular knight isn't wearing the colors of that order).

I rather have Knight then a beer maid. Probably because I don't like beer and I loved those Ritterspiele when I was a kid (still love them ).

Sure Knights are hardly a German invention since thy were all over Europe but it's not not German, is it?

sure, knights arent the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Germany, but..well... is there any better suggestion besides Beermaids or birkenstocks??

there may be lots of knights in the history of Germany- but, I definitley dont think of knights when I think about Germany.
