Learn German with GermanPod101.com! You are finally on that well-deserved trip to Germany. As you are boarding the plane, you bump into someone because the plane is so crowded. You reply in German, “I’m sorry!” As you get closer to the rear of the plane, you squeeze past two women that are having trouble with their bags as one of them drops theirs. You mumble in German, “I’m sorry,” and keep walking. Finally, you arrive at your seat. You are sitting next to what seems to be a friendly guy, so you decide to strike up a conversation, but before you can, the stewardess asks what you would like to drink. You order coffee and once again turn to the man, but as clumsy as you have been today, you drop your coffee onto the floor between you and it splashes onto you, the kind man, and everything both of you are holding! Turning red, you quickly say in German, “I’m so sorry!” The man is as friendly as he looks and replies in German, “It’s okay. It will  all wash out.” You instantly feel better about the situation, frantically trying to clean up the mess, as you go ahead and introduce yourself.
