One friend states in German, “You will need all of the things you had this time to get through passport control, plus some other things.” You are confused and can’t imagine what else you would need to get through the German passport control. You ask your friend in German, “What else will I need?” As she begins explaining that you will need a special identification card (in addition to everything else) that will be very useful in many ways while in Germany, you have flashbacks to the amount of paperwork you had to go through just to get here THIS time! Thank goodness she warned you! Ugh…let’s just hope you don’t forget anything!
