The use of Gern(e)…. I also understand you can say, Ich mochte ( I would like ) or Ich mochte gern (which is MORE polite??) Is this accurate?? oris this the American take on the use of gern.
Wednesday at 3:06 am
“Ich möchte gern” can be said but it’s not so common. “Ich hätte gern” is the common phrasing which really can’t do without the “gern”.

I tray by all my best efforts to learn german so I hope to send to me more lessones without another comment from me if you can

I was just teaching a student today about “gern(e) with moechten & haetten. If you use the subjunctive + gern(e) it sounds almost too polite, though this can be used to great comedic effect.

Hi,
??? I find them useless if I cannot learn the words with their gender and plural form! Also why not showing them in the ‘Vocabulary List with Audio’ and ‘Expansion with Audio’ sections?
interesting lesson about the plural types as it’s important in German to know the gender and the plural form of the nouns.
But then why don’t the flashcards include these forms

there is an glitch in the vocabulary list, the audio for ‘Kugel’ is ‘Eis’.
Monday at 3:48 pm
Hi Franck,
We always thank you for your comments : )
As for the plural forms, let us consider your idea as for next development of Flashcards. Any ideas that would help you and other listeners, please let us know anytime : )
As for the audio, we’ve found the audio file was not correct for the word “Kugel”. You’ll be able to see the correct audio file soon.
Thank you.
