How do you like this new format?
And Chuck wants to know: are you into board games? Are you going to the Essen game fair? Chuck is definitely going…

avatar a.b.c.d says:

I dont like them. But I love the new format. And, I only wish I could could go to Essen, even if I had to go to a game fair once I got there!

avatar Peter says:

I like the new format. But I also liked the old format. I guess I just like formats.

PS: Please tell Chuck I like board games. Especially those that I win. Even so, I am afraid I won’t be going to Essen. Nevertheless, I hope Chuck gets fair games at the game fair.

avatar Francine says:

:???: So does this format mean we will not get anymore Newbie or Beginer Lessons? Those are my favorite!!

ps. I dont know anyone who Doesn’t like bord games! lol

avatar jennine says:

hmm… i hate to point out something wrong in the dialogue, but there’s a train that goes directly into frankfurt am main from the airport. the bus was true, i guess 5 years ago…

i actually live quite close to the airport, and the bus from my house to it, only takes about 15 min, and i live 15min to frankfurt proper on the s-bahn, so even if i decided to go the long way, by my house, it wouldn’t take 2 hours, unless i stopped for lunch.

avatar Judith says:

The board game fair was a lot of fun.
Jennine, are you talking of the Frankfurt Hahn airport? The big Frankfurt airport is close to the city, but Frankfurt Hahn didn’t have a train station last time I travelled…

avatar jennine says:

yeah… the FRA has a fast train that goes directly into the city… i didn’t even think of the frankfrut hahn because… well, i’ve never used it… and i forgot about it.

everyone seems to like boardgames here… more so than the people i know back home. maybe we’d be up for a game of poker, but das malefiz? maybe not…. and it’s so hard to get anyone to play scrabble, unless you’re on vacation in the woods, and its snowing outside.
