Wie geht es dir? Mir geht es gut. Ich wohne jetzt in Moskau mit meine Familie. Ihr haus und die Umgebung sind sehr schön, und ich finde Russland sehr interessant. Es ist kalt und machmal warm und sonnig. Ich gehen nacht meine Heimatstadt am 4 September. Ich werde später schreiben mehr.

Ich benutze Windows aber unglücklicherweise stimmen die Alt-Tasten nicht.

alt + 132 = ä
alt + 142 = Ä

alt + 148 = ö
alt + 153 = Ö

alt + 129 = ü
alt + 154 = Ü

alt + 225 = ß

I don’t know whether there is another way of doing these symbols in an American keyboard, but I hope this can help

PS: The conditional tense? In a beginner lesson? I am not sure I know what the conditional tense is in English, let alone German! Howeer, I am sure I would know if you were to teach me. This is just like studying Advanced Mathematics at school and going on to study Elementary Mathematics at university, isn’t it? Anyway, I have a question. I think “Ich möchte” means “I would like”. Does “Ich würde mögen” mean the same thing?

PPS: To type an Umlaut I copy from the Character Map and paste into my comment. Typing Umlauts is a real fag. Do you know a way that is only a fake fag? I have tried pressing the Alt button and typing a numeric code but that doesn’t seem to work. I have looked at the German keyboard in the Control Panel but all the letters are in the wrong place. Zu Hilfe, bitte! (NB: I do not have a master’s degree in Computer Science!)

Wie geht es dir? Es geht mir sehr gut. Ich wohne in Austin bei meinem Mann und meinem Sohn. Wir haben Blumen in unser Garten, und sie sind sehr schön. Es ist jetzt sehr heiß, aber ich halte, daß es bald kühler wird. Ich laufe gern mit meinem Hund, und es ist jetzt so heiß.
