When was YOUR last picknick? What was it like?
Mine was in the Summer Palace park in Beijing, China, on an island that we illegally docked to ;-) We were celebrating the birthday of one of us. Due to problems locating certain foods in China, our picknick food was rather strange (cold noodles, anyone?), but we did manage to get a birthday cake.

Same here. We do have quite a few BBQs in summer.

By the way, was Chuck playing two roles in the dialogue?

GermanPod101.com says:

Yes, he plays Michael as usual and also Thomas. Hope it wasn’t too confusing.

sometimes you also use frau (written with a small f) when you use man because man sounds like Mann and to emphasizes on the female population one uses frau as contrast. You see that in the mass media sometimes when talking about gender differences.
I.e making funny remarks.
Man weiß es, frau weiß es besser. (one knows, but woman knows better).

The audio for the word “reden” in the vocabulary list does not work. It plays back as “sprechen”. Ditto in the flash cards section too. Can you fix them please?

There was already a comment about it. The audio and flashcard for “reden” needs to be corrected. Is anyone form the germanpod101 teamd reading these comments??
