Wie magst du Popcorn? Süß (sweet) oder salzig (salty)? Practise your German at GermanPod101.com!
Ich mag nur salzig Popcorn! Süß Popcorn in US ist ähnlich “cracker jack.”
I think sweet popcorn is a bit weird. The salty one is more common here. And you mentioned the delicious Berliner
My favorite food from Germany: in French they are known as “Boules de Berlin”
Ich mag auch Popcorn !!!! Ich habe gern salzig Popcorn, aber im Kino habe lieber süß Popcorn.
@ Codexus: I didn’t know that !!! Where can I buy some in France ?
@ petiteclaire: I’m not sure. Here in Geneva, they can be bought in most stores but I don’t know if they are commonly found in all regions of France.
