Did you watch “Der Schuh des Manitu”? If so, what did you think about it? If not, are you planning to watch it?
Is there any non-German who has managed to watch it without even German subtitles? That would be the best language learner of all times…

Ich habe über diesen Film nie gehört. Glauben Sie, daß er außer Deutschland gekauft werden kann ?
Deutsche Filmen werden nicht oft ausgefahren. Ich glaube, daß in Frankreich ” das Leben der Anderen” der berühmteste deutsche Film ist.

Ich hab ihn gesehn und ich liebte ihn echt! Kann mich nicht erinnerene ob ich es ohne deutsche untertiteln gesehen hab oder nicht aber es ist ein bissl schwer bayrisch ohne untertiteln zu verstehen wenn man es vorher nicht wirklich gehört hat. Naja, vllt würd ich es heut ohne untertiteln verstehen. Auf jeden fall, mehr als das erste mal.
Wer liebt nicht Winnietouch???!

Petiteclaire, “Der Schuh des Manitou” wurde in ein paar anderen Ländern gezeigt, also gibt es den vielleicht auch dort auf DVD zu kaufen. Ansonsten könnten Sie ihn unter http://www.amazon.de bestellen, die liefern auch in andere Länder.

Karl May kommt in diesem Film auch vor
Vielleicht ist Traumschiff Surprise auch interessant für amerikanisches Publikum, der Film wirkt mehr wie ein amerikanischer Fim.
Der WIxxer gefällt mir sogar noch besser.
An deutschen Filmen mag ich auch Die Feuerzangenbowle, Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo and Der Himmel über Berlin und Das fliegende Klassenzimmer (the b/w version)

Ich liebe diesen Film, aber ich denke, dass dieser Film für Deutsch-Lernende mehr als nur eine Herausforderung ist
! Selbst ich als Norddeutsche habe ab und an doch Probleme Bayrisch zu verstehen
.
Für jeden, der nach Bad Segeberg kommt, lohnt sich ein Besuch der Karl-May-Aufführungen in der Freilichtbühne wirklich!
